Of course you have heard of the Mary Jane shoe. I suppose it had to have been named after someone named Mary Jane who inevitably always wore shoes that looked like Mary Jane shoes. My friend Ann asked me to do a little shirt for her daughter with the circle applique and a letter applique on top. It's the first of this kind that I have done and since Ann gave me the idea, I am calling it the Mary Frances shirt in honor of her daughter Mary Frances who will be three on Valentine's Day.
